Mold

When it comes to mold, one thing to keep in mind is moisture control. Without moisture, mold is unable to grow or reproduce. It is important to dry water-damaged areas or items in 24-48 hours to prevent mold growth or secondary damage from occurring. Mold is usually not a problem indoors, unless mold spores land on wet or damp areas and begin to grow. Mold produces allergens (substances that can cause allergic reactions), irritants, and in some cases potentially toxic substances (mycotoxins). Allergic reactions to mold are very common that can have immediate or delayed reactions in how they can affect you.
